DaToo aquarium heater, lights and filters for every tank

Small tanks lose heat fast, nano lights need to be small, and filters must be quiet enough for a bedroom. DaToo makes the aquarium heater, the light, the filter and the pump for each of those jobs — from a 1-gallon betta bowl to a 300-gallon display.

Works

Works good got my temps down a little has been on for over a couple months straight no issues

Great deal!

Great for the price! Works as it should! The scrubber that goes into the tank had velcro or something equally similar to it that scrubs the tank. Does a great job. The magnets are not super strong, but work good for what they are for. If you have neglected your tank for a long time it will still take some effort and scrubbing to clean, but for general maintenance these are great.

Great Fish Breeding Box

Awesome fish breeding box. The suction cups I have no issues with they have strong cups that hold up the entire box. I has worked perfeclty as I bred a ton of guppies. Easy to assemble and study a great place to protect the babies

How the DaToo aquarium heater range is organised

There are three kinds of DaToo heater. Preset heaters, such as the 25 W mini, hold a constant temperature of 78°F with no setting — the simplest choice for a betta. Flat PTC heaters (6 W, 10 W, 30 W) warm bowls and nano tanks without glass. Adjustable heaters — the D1 with an electronic chip, the dial heater, the 50 W with an LED display, and the 300 W and 500 W knob heaters — let you set the temperature for different fish and plants, and the titanium and inline heaters are for large or canister-filtered tanks.

Is a DaToo heater safe?

The glass models use quartz or borosilicate tubes, a rubber seal or sealed cap, and a thermostat that stops heating at the set temperature. Two simple rules keep any glass heater safe: keep it fully under water while it is plugged in, and let it cool for 15 minutes before taking it out. Flat PTC heaters have no glass at all, and the 10 W and 30 W run at 24 V.

Temperature control, inside the tube

Every DaToo aquarium heater works the same way inside: a sensor reads the water temperature, and the thermostat turns the heating element on when the water is below the set temperature and stops heating when it gets there. On the D1 and the 50 W model an electronic chip does this job instead of an old bimetal strip, which makes the control more precise — the 50 W heater holds within ±1°F, the 500 W within ±1°C. The result is a constant temperature that keeps fish comfortable, which matters more to them than the exact number.

The design details are about safety: quartz glass that resists cracking, flame-retardant ABS plastic caps, sealed cable entries and cords up to 6 ft long, so the plug can sit well away from the water. The flat heaters add a 24 V low-voltage design, and the 10 W and 30 W models cut power when they are lifted out of the water.

Warranty and service

DaToo equipment comes with a one-year warranty. If a heater stops heating, a light fails or a pump goes quiet within that year, the seller replaces or repairs it — just contact them from the order page of your purchases. Keep the box and the model number (for example DT-25A or D1-50W); it makes any claim faster.

Lights, filters and pumps

Nano tanks get clip-on LEDs that fit rims up to a quarter inch; bigger tanks get bracket lights from 8 to 28 inches and submersible bars with a timer. Hang-on, in-tank and sponge filters cover 1 to 55 gallons, multi-function power heads go to 300 gallons, and replacement cartridges are sold for each DaToo filter. Air pumps from 1 W USB to 3 W, air stones, check valves and full accessory kits finish the setup.

Cleaning, cooling and care

Magnetic scrubbers clean the glass from outside, scrapers and sponge brushes reach the corners, and a gravel siphon handles water changes without power. In summer, clip-on fans lower the water by 4 to 7°F, and a fan controller turns them on only when needed. Test strips, digital thermometers, feeders and a breeding box cover daily care.

Questions keepers ask

What is the best aquarium heater for a small tank?

For 1 to 6 gallons, a preset 25 W heater that holds 78°F is the easiest. Under 2 gallons, a flat 6 W or 10 W PTC heater fits better.

Do aquarium heaters use a lot of electricity?

Not much: a heater only draws power while its light is on. A 25 W heater running half the time uses about 0.3 kWh a day.

Can DaToo heaters be used in saltwater?

Most glass and titanium models can; the 10 W and 30 W flat PTC heaters are freshwater only.

What temperature does the DaToo mini heater keep?

The 25 W mini heater is preset to 78°F — right for betta and most tropical fish.

How long does an aquarium heater last?

Several years with care. Replace any heater with a cracked tube or a light that no longer switches off.
